About Me
Welcome to Chelsea of the Sea! My name is Chelsea Rush and this is my online message in the bottle to the world. I write about my journey becoming a Quadriplegic, being a single mother, and finding my purpose to help others.

I was born and raised in Orange County, with two younger brother and a sister. My creativity drove me to pursue my passion in cosmetology, and jewelry design; I always loved the metamorphosis I created when my clients left me leaving confident and fierce. Naturally, I am a very easy going and happy person! I was working my dream job, met the man I thought was the love of my life, was living the life I wanted and shooting for the stars when one day my life changed forever...

I am on this journey to recovery. My recovery efforts are every day. Day to day I never know what the challenges will be.

My path as a 24-year-old hairdresser/makeup artist and fashion stylist was destroyed in a catastrophic spinal cord injury. My pleasure ATV ride with my boyfriend changed my path forever in an instant.
I am on a journey to find recovery in whatever small way.
